Having enjoyed Yardbird so much for brunch, we dropped by a second time during our Miami trip (read about my first visit here). This time we came for lunch which is served Monday to Friday between 11:30am and 3pm.

If there was one restaurant I was really looking forward to trying in Miami, it was definitely Michael’s Genuine Food & Drink.
Located in Doral, just west of Miami, La Esquina del Lechon is famous for their pan con lechon (aka roast pork sandwiches). Known as one of the best pan con lechons in the Miami area, I was couldn’t wait to sink my teeth into one of these sandwiches.
