With such an incredible food scene in Toronto, Abbey’s Kitchen Stadium was created to showcase the city’s culinary talent and raise money for a food initiative, My Food My Way. With inspiration from popular chef competition tv shows like Iron Chef and Chopped, a series of three interactive culinary competitions were held at the MOD club hosted by Abbey (@AbbeysKitchen).
The Drake Hotel (@thedrakehotel) has brought a bit of Queen West to the financial district with the opening of its new stand-alone restaurant, Drake One Fifty.
Home of the Brave (@theHOTB) is the newest addition to the comfort food scene in Toronto. Located at King and Portland (above Lou Dawg’s), this new restaurant is brought to you by the team behind La Carnita.
To celebrate Southern Ontario’s best food truck eats, the second annual AwesTRUCK food truck rally was held on September 21st at the Fort York Garrison Commons. It was touted as the largest food truck rally in Canada with 50 food trucks.
