If you’re a big fan of oysters, Oyster Boy is a must visit! The small restaurant is located on Queen street, just west of Trinity Bellwoods park. The interior has a cozy feel and doesn’t have that touristy feel like Rodney’s.
North of Brooklyn brings something to Toronto that’s really been lacking – delicious pizza sold by the slice. There aren’t very many options in the city if you’re looking for a pizza joint that doesn’t go by the name “Pizza Pizza.”

Located in the heart of the financial district is Vertical, a restaurant popular with the business crowd. Working in the financial district, I had been meaning to try Vertical for years. What finally prompted me to drop by was Dining Date Night.
Having been around for over 50 years, Barberian’s Steak House is a Toronto institution. With its old school décor, it looks like they haven’t changed the place since they first opened.
