Finding myself hungry and in close proximity to the recently opened Sabai Sabai (@sabaisabaito), I had to drop by. The owners of this restaurant, located at Church and Dundas, have partnered up with Nuit Regular (from Sukho Thai and formerly of Khao San Road).
Serving up a tasty brunch, Emma’s Country Kitchen (@emmacountrykitc) is located on Saint Clair West, just east of Dufferin. This low-key and homey spot is brought to you by Rachel Pellett (formerly of The Stockyards) and her friend Heather Mee.
Looking for an izakaya but don’t feel like driving all the way downtown? Izakaya Ju, located in J-Town, is worth checking out.
Located at Queen and Carlaw, Skin + Bones (@skinandbonesTO) is one of the newest additions to the Leslieville restaurant scene. The restaurant is pretty unassuming on the outside and occupies a deceivingly large space.
Located in Etobicoke, Black Angus Steak House was established in 1964 and doesn’t look like it has changed much since then. It reminded me a lot of Barberian’s Steak House except a little less stuffy.
