[Miami] Joe’s Stone Crab

When you think of stone crabs, the first place that comes to mind is often Joe’s Stone Crab (@joesstonecrab) in Miami. This iconic restaurant started out as a lunch counter by Joe Weiss on Miami Beach back in 1913. After celebrating its centennial last year, I think it’s safe to say, the restaurant is quite the institution.

[Miami] Swine Southern Table & Bar

Last March marked the opening of Swine Southern Table & Bar (@SwineSouthern), another restaurant from the 50 Eggs restaurant group (@50eggsinc). The group, which is the brainchild of John Kunkel (@50eggsjk), also owns the wildly successful Yardbird Southern Table & Bar and Khong River House.

[Miami] SUSHISAMBA

The first SUSHISAMBA (@SUSHISAMBA) opened up in New York in 1999. Fast forward 15 years and SUSHISAMBA is now a chain with locations in major cities including Chicago, Las Vegas and London. During my trip to Miami, I was invited to check out their newest addition, located in Coral Gables.

Known for serving up the best fritas (Cuban hamburgers) in Miami, there was no doubt a visit to El Mago de las Fritas (@magodelasfritas) was in order. Before ordering, we saw a picture of Obama eating here, so we knew it had to be legit!

Winterlicious: King Street Social

I kicked off my Monday with a Winterlicious lunch at King Street Social. It was definitely a treat! I wish I could say I dined like this every day for lunch but sadly my usual PB&J sandwich pales in comparison.
