Tabülè (Queen East)

I’ve previously eaten at Tabülè’s (@TabuleToronto) Yonge St location before and didn’t find it particularly memorable. What drew Mike and I into the Riverdale/Leslieville location was the fact that it seemed to be packed every single night. After a meal here, we could definitely understand why.

[Miami] El Palacio De Los Jugos

If you want a good meal in Miami but you’re on a tight budget, El Palacio De Los Jugos is a must visit. Actually, regardless of budget, this Latin American food court comes highly recommended.

[Miami] Tongue & Cheek (Now Closed)

With a name like Tongue & Cheek (@TandCMiami), this restaurant clearly doesn’t take itself too seriously. Chef and owner Jamie DeRosa has created a menu that’s a fun and contemporary take on American dishes.

Scaddabush

There’s been a lot of action at the Yonge and Gerrard intersection in recent months with the opening of Reds Wine Tavern, Duke’s Refresher and now, Scaddabush (@SCADDABUSH). The restaurants are found in the recently-built Aura condos, so those condo-dwellers will definitely be well fed if they ever find their fridge empty!

[Miami] Blue Collar

During our previous visit to Miami, we drove by Blue Collar (@bluecollarmiami) and noticed it had an enormous crowd gathered outside the small restaurant. We quickly looked it up and with a 4.5 star rating on Yelp we promised ourselves we’d check it out on our next visit. All these people can’t be wrong, after all.
