While looking for a place to grab a few drinks and some snacks, Mike and I ended up at 416 Snack Bar on Bathurst, just north of Queen Street.
After hearing great things about Ursa since it opened a few weeks ago, Mike and I were eager to check it out. The restaurant is occupied in a space which previously belonged to Bar One on Queen Street, a couple of blocks east of Ossington.
If you’re a fan of tapas, there’s really no better place in the city to go than Cava. The restaurant is located on Yonge, just north of St. Clair in a random plaza. You’d easily miss it if you didn’t know it was there.
The first time Mike and I dropped by Bobbette & Belle, it was just we were having lunch at Queen Margherita, just a few blocks away. Although we didn’t want to spoil our appetite, we couldn’t resist getting some of their mouth-watering offerings.
After living near Joons for a few years, my friends were shocked I had never tried Joons. Okay, I lied. I’ve tried their pork bone soup and bulgogi once (for take-out) and wasn’t impressed, so I didn’t feel the need to go back. I wish I had known what to order back then…otherwise I would have been a regular here!
