Located in the heart of Yorkville, Mideastro (@MideastroTO) celebrated their 2nd anniversary last week.
Walk down Queen East on any given Sunday around noon and you’ll find lines of people waiting to get their brunch fix. Looking for a quick bite to eat, the four of us quickly realized there wasn’t any hope of getting into the popular neighborhood favourites like Bonjour Brioche and Lady Marmalade. We came across Joy Bistro (@JoyBistro), located on the corner of Queen and Booth, and we were able to grab a table immediately.
With an eye-catching mural on the side of its restaurant, it’s hard to miss Fancy Franks Gourmet Hot Dogs (@FancyFranks) on College street, just west of Spadina.
After having a memorable brunch at Rose and Sons (@Roseandsons), I promised myself I’d be back for dinner. Serving up comforting diner fare, I couldn’t think of a better place to go for a Sunday dinner with Mike and his parents.
Just when I thought the ramen boom was over in Toronto, Ryus Noodle Bar recently opened up in Baldwin Village, just a few steps away from the popular Kinton Ramen.
