When was the last time you had a pop tart? Along with a whole bunch of other American comfort food classics, this DC diner specializes in making these childhood favourites in-house.
Growing up, I hated savoury pies. The only savoury pies I was familiar with were the soggy, pasty messes that came from the freezer and were nuked in the microwave. Sound familiar? Well, a visit to the Pie Commission (@PieCommish) will certainly change your outlook!
One thing I love about Toronto is its incredibly diverse food scene. With a focus on local and seasonal ingredients, the menu at the Gladstone Hotel (@GladstoneHotel) is a true reflection of our diverse city.
Having been around for quite some time, Splendido (@Splendido_TO) is quite the iconic restaurant for fine dining in Toronto. After changing hands a couple times and being known as the most expensive restaurant in Toronto at one point in time, the restaurant is now only offering a choice of two tasting menus.
Located in Bloordale with no obvious signage, you could easily walk past the Emerson (@EmersonToronto) without ever knowing it was there. That would be a terrible mistake since the food here is excellent!
