While running some errands in the Yonge and Eglinton area, Mike and I stopped by La Boheme for lunch. La Boheme is a coffee and pastry shop which serves up a variety of sandwiches, quiches, pastries and desserts.
Ever since going to Shake Shack during my first visit to New York, this burger chain instantly rose to the top of my burger list. During our most recent trip, Mike and I went to the original location in Madison Square Park since we lucked out with some gorgeous weather.
I came to Black Hoof with foodigatorJ around 7:30 on a Monday evening and luckily the two of us were able to get a table immediately. I was afraid we’d face a long wait since they don’t take reservations and are often quite busy. I heard they even made Gordon Ramsey wait in line when he came to visit the restaurant!
Located in the Meatpacking District is one of Jean-George’s several restaurants in NYC. From the outside, the restaurant doesn’t look very large, but after entering, I realized just how enormous the space was. The space consisted of two large floors of Asian-inspired décor. It was so over-the-top, I felt like I was on a movie set.
