With sixty of the city’s top female chefs donating their time and talent to create mouthwatering delicacies at the 19th annual Eat to the Beat (@EattotheBeat_TO) culinary fundraiser, this event is not to be missed!

This year’s event will be taking place on Tuesday, October 21st at Roy Thompson Hall. Tickets are priced at $175 each (with a tax receipt) and include all the food and beverages you can possibly eat and drink. Take a look at my recap of last year’s event here. You’ll definitely leave the event in a happy food coma. In addition to food and drinks, the evening also includes live music, a silent auction featuring must-have items, and a raffle draw for a chance to win great prizes.

Eat to the Beat benefits Willow Breast & Hereditary Cancer Support (@WillowTweeting), a not-for-profit organization that offers free peer support to anyone coping with breast cancer. It’s all for a really great cause!

“When you buy a ticket to Eat to the Beat, you are helping someone get through the dark days of breast cancer,” states Jeffrey Beach, Executive Director of Willow Breast & Hereditary Cancer Support.  “Proceeds go directly to our programs and services that pass on strength and knowledge to people across Canada who need Willow’s caring and expertise to help them navigate the challenges that come with a breast cancer diagnosis.”

Some of this year’s participants include Chef Véronique (Crêpes à GoGo), Lindsay Haddock (Scaramouche), Wanda Beaver (Wanda’s Pie in the Sky), Alexandra Feswick (The Drake Hotel) and Nuit Regular (Sabai Sabai) to name a few. Check out the full list of participating chefs here.
