I’m sure we can all agree we’ve had a rough winter and the cold weather just doesn’t seem to be dying down. But if there’s one good thing about cold weather, it’s definitely comfort food. Being a huge fan of grilled cheese sandwiches, I was excited to hear about Toronto’s first ever Grilled Cheese Fest!

The event is brought to us by Joylister (@JoylisterFun), the same group who brought us Toronto Poutine Fest over the summer. The Grilled Cheese Fest is taking place at the end of February so there’s still time to get your tickets. You can purchase them here.

It’s an all-you-can-eat event which will feature many well-known grilled cheese vendors and restaurants including Cheesewerks, Gorilla Cheese, Leslieville Cheese Market and Melt Grilled Cheese, to name a few.

If you’re like me and like your grilled cheese with a piping hot bowl of soup, they’ve also got you covered – the event will also have gourmet soup! Tickets cost $39.99+HST per person and includes 3 beer samples.

Here are the details:

Date: Friday, February 28, 2014

Time: 5:30pm to 10pm

Location: Roy Thompson Hall

Cost: $39.99+HST
