Brasserie Georges is the home of Lyon’s oldest brasserie – open since 1836! I know, I know, it’s a bit of a touristy dining destination but there aren’t very many options for dining out on a Sunday evening.
Last week I attended a class with Toben Food by Design led by Chef Toben Kochman (@ChefToben) and catering director Elana Kochman. During the class, the brother and sister team behind the catering company shared their tips and tricks for hosting summertime parties.
Brought to you by the record label Arts and Crafts, the Field Trip Music festival was their way of celebrating their 10th anniversary. The full-day event was held last Saturday at the Fork York Garrison Common and featured artists from their music label including Broken Social Scene and Feist.

If you’re a cheese lover, La Cloche à Fromage is a must-visit in Strasbourg! The restaurant, which translates to “cheese bell”, has the world’s largest “cloche” at 1.8m high and 1.5m in diameter. It houses over 80 varieties of cheese arranged on three tiers of marble.
