[DC] Rasika

Serving up modern Indian fare, I was a little hesitant to make Rasika one of our limited meals in DC. Toronto has some pretty great Indian food and coupled with the fact that it was 35 degrees (celsius) during our visit, Indian food wouldn’t be my cuisine of choice. But after our meal, I was glad we were able to squeeze Rasika in.

Renovated, revamped and reimagined. Ladies and gentlemen, WEST is back! This pioneering King West hotspot started out in the late 90’s before King West was…well, King West as we know it today.

Located in a residential area of DC, this “Italian-influenced American Restaurant” is serving up some pretty impressive pasta dishes.

iYellow Wine Club: Oysters & Stoneleigh Wine

Wine and oysters – they make for a perfect evening, don’t they? I recently attended an iYellow Wine Club (@iyellowwineclub) event which was centred around my two favourite things! We spent the evening learning the basics of shucking while enjoying some Stoneleigh wine at the iYellow Wine Cave.

[DC] Le Diplomate

Stepping into Le Diplomate, I immediately fell in love with the space. It’s absolutely stunning and I’d expect nothing less after restaurateur Stephen Starr spent millions renovating the space. It really brought me back to Paris.
