Located in bustling Mong Kok, Kam Wah Cafe is famous for serving up one of the best pineapple buns in Hong Kong. Being a big fan of pineapple buns, this place was definitely on my list.

Like many other great restaurants in Hong Kong, Kau Kee only specializes in one thing. Their specialty is beef brisket noodle soup. And like many other restaurants in the city, it’s a no-frills joint with cramped quarters. In other words, you’ll be sharing a tiny round table with strangers with your neighbors chopsticks in your face.
Located in the heart of the Entertainment District, Thoroughbred Food & Drink (@ThoroughbredTO) has just launched their brunch service. I dropped by for their lunch service shortly after they opened last summer and loved what was coming out of the kitchen. So when we were invited to check out their brunch, I didn’t have to think twice. And once again, we were thoroughly impressed.
After closing up in mid-February, Panorama Lounge has been reinvented as The One Eighty (@the51stfloor). Located on the 51st floor of the Manulife Centre in Yorkville, the new name isn’t only a reference to the 180-degree view but also to their new menu approach.
Y’know those times where there is just so much hype for a restaurant that when you finally get to go, it just doesn’t meet your expectations? This wasn’t one of those times. Bar Raval (@bar_raval) is worth the hype.
