For seafood lovers, Aquatic Addiction Development (AAD) is a must-visit in Taipei. With a name like that, I wasn’t surprised to see that it was unlike any other fish market I’ve been to.
This famous xiao long bao chain started out as a cooking oil retail store in Taipei back in 1958. In 1972, it was converted into a dumpling and noodle house. Fast forward over forty years, and this iconic restaurant has branches all over the world including in Japan, Malaysia, China, Australia and the US, to name a few.
There’s no doubt that Mildred’s Temple Kitchen (@mildredstemple) serves up some of the best pancakes in the city, but what you might not know is that they have a fantastic dinner service too.
During our Taipei trip, we hired a taxi driver for a day to take us out to the surrounding areas. The historic town of Jiufen was our first stop.
