Mike and I were meeting some friends in Mississauga for lunch one weekend and since we had a craving for dim sum, we ended up at Grand Chinese Cuisine. The restaurant is located on Dixon Road, just west of the 401, in the DoubleTree hotel.
Globe Earth has been on my list of restaurants to try for a while. So, when I saw a coupon for it on one of those group-buy sites, I snagged one and made my way over to its convenient Yonge street location, just a block north of Rosedale station.
Mike and I arrived at Queen Margherita at noon on a Sunday, right when the restaurant opened. How did we schlep over here so early? Two words: Daylight Savings.
Since I wanted to check out a store at the Shops at Don Mills, Mike and I decided to drop by Fabbrica for dinner. Owned by Mark McEwan, Fabbrica is located next to his high-end grocery store, McEwan.
