The Chickery (@TheChickery) brings a fast and casual restaurant serving up roast chicken to the Queen and Spadina neighborhood. The restaurant is brought to you by David Adjey (from Food Network’s, Restaurant Makeover) and Danny Farbman (owner of What a Bagel).
Located in King West, Jacobs & Co. Steakhouse is known for being one of the best places in Toronto for steak.
My friend, Vanessa, was having her birthday at a bar in the Annex last month. While looking for a place to eat nearby before heading to the bar, I came across Caren’s Wine & Cheese Bar in Yorkville. This wine bar is located on Cumberland street, just off of Avenue Road. It doesn’t have great signage so in case you’re looking for it, it’s situated between a parking garage and a sushi restaurant.
Famoso Neapolitan Pizzeria opened on on June 21st, bringing authentic Neapolitan pizza to the Annex. Famoso is a fast and casual restaurant which already has numerous locations out west. Their first Toronto location also opened recently in Yorkdale, as part of the revamped food selection, Dine on 3.
Located on Queen Street, just east of Bathurst, I’m sure we’ve all passed by Shanghai Cowgirl numerous times. Having been a little curious about this diner, I finally gave in to my curiousity and dropped by one day for lunch.
